Volunteer Days

Arts Access Volunteer Days are an opportunity to give back to the arts and culture organizations that make the Arts Access program possible. These volunteer days create space for passholders, partners, and ASI staff to come together, support local arts organizations, and build connections across our creative community.
Volunteer opportunities will be offered regularly and will vary in scope, format, and activity to meet the needs of our partner locations. Along the way, passholders will get a chance to "peek behind the curtain" and learn more about our local arts organizations, and experience the personal benefits of volunteering - connection, purpose, and shared impact.

SEPT 26
DOORS OPEN BUFFALO
Doors Open Buffalo, Explore Buffalo’s signature annual event, is a day of free public access to architecturally and historically significant locations. The goal of Doors Open Buffalo is to excite visitors about Buffalo’s unique architectural heritage.
Volunteers are needed to help inside of the participating buildings with responsibilities such as checking in and counting guests, greeting guests, and providing directions.

"Our volunteer day was fantastic. We are thrilled to partner with ASI's Arts Access program and for them to give back to us in this meaningful way is tremendously wonderful. Like many nonprofits, we are a small but mightily staffed organization, and therefore, to have additional support to help organize, clean and get tasks done that can sometimes take a backseat due to limitations; it is so invaluable."
